When we go away to do workshops in Woolgoolga, the headland is a lovely place to sit. It’s usually late in the afternoon, and there is a gorgeous glow on everything. These little studies are about that time. They’re about the shadows and about how that golden light affects the ocean, nice and simple. There is always a painting somewhere.
