I really enjoy taking my dog for a walk on the beach late in the afternoon. Sometimes my meandering takes a lot longer than expected, and I get to witness the moonrise over the water. It’s kind of sublime, and of course I have to paint it. It’s always slightly frustrating painting it, because you can never quite capture the movement or the nuance. But still I keep trying!
